maybe this will be my last crucifixion drawing, I don't know...I was trying to be particularly brutal, but, it's not brutality toward women, it's sticking a female Jesus in the face of the establishment that ever since the Dark Ages, and continuing now, has been an institution ran by men and starring men and submissive women, and in writing in certain women to be shameful, like Mary Magdalene as a prostitute.  I'm not a feminist nut or anything, but, I was raised in Catholic school and taught that women's bodies were sins, and the only good women were the statues of the virgin.  That's briefly what this means to me. It may mean a lot of things to others. But, for me, I hate brutality toward women. Just wanted to be clear on that.
